Hyundai Dealership Applauds PA’s Commitment to Environment

Wednesday, January 7th, 2009

Your Hyundai dealership wants to give kudos to the officials in the state of Pennsylvania for joining 10 other eastern states in an effort to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

“This partnership will work closely on a standard for the entire region,” said Governor Ed Rendell earlier this week when he announced the state’s agreement to participate in the program. “In conjunction with Pennsylvania’s energy policies to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and increase clean energy development, this work done by this partnership will ultimately grow our economy and protect our planet by fostering a cleaner environment.”

The partnership is hoping to develop a “regional low carbon fuel standard” that will encourage residents to choose more eco-friendly methods of transportation, including hydrogen fueled cars, plug-in hybrids and cars fueled by biodiesel and ethanol. The idea of a regional low carbon fuel standard began in June of 2008 when Governor Deval Patrick of Massachusetts sent a letter inviting other governors in the region to cooperate.

The other states participating in the program include New Hampshire, Connecticut, Maine, Delaware, Massachusetts, Maryland, New York, New Jersey, Vermont and Rhode Island.

You can help the region achieve this goal by visiting your East Brunswick area Hyundai dealer and purchasing a fuel-efficient vehicle. With the number of choices, you’ll be sure to find something you like as well as something that’s great for the environment, too!

Keep the Receipt from Your Hyundai Dealership

Monday, January 5th, 2009

Did you know that when you purchase or lease a new car from your local Hyundai dealership, you may be able to return it if you have trouble making the payments?

In an effort to make consumers more comfortable with their purchase and make a contribution to helping the economic crisis, your Hyundai dealer will have an “out” for you in some cases. Named the “Hyundai Assurance Program,” new car buyers and leases who are “stricken by misfortune outside of their control, such as losing their job, becoming disabled or losing their drivers license for medical reasons” during the first 12 months of financing can return their Hyundai to the Hyundai dealership. As long as the buyer has made at least the first two payments, the Hyundai dealership will refund “the depreciation on the returned car up to $7,500.”

The “Hyundai Assurance Program” was launched last week and is “aimed at consumers too nervous to spring for a new car in the difficult economy.” Doesn’t this make you feel more comfortable about visiting your East Brunswick area Hyundai dealer and plunking some money down for a great new car? You won’t find a program like this with any other automaker today.

New Jersey Dealership Looks at the 2009 Hyundai Genesis

Friday, November 28th, 2008

The Hyundai Genesis is a brand new type of vehicle, and the first true luxury vehicle that you’re likely to see at your Hyundai dealer near Springfield. At first glance, you aren’t even sure it’s a Hyundai; the famed Hyundai badge doesn’t appear on the front, on the doors, or even on the fenders. You can only find one Hyundai logo – on the lid of the trunk.

You’ll also find the vehicle’s name there, too: The Hyundai Genesis.

The Genesis is Hyundai’s foray into the luxury market. Hyundai has come through with flying colors. If it weren’t for those lone badges on the back of the car, you’d swear you were looking at Mercedes from the front or a Lexus from the side.

The ride, well, you’ll have to judge for yourself. The 2009 Hyundai genesis rides very smooth, and handles like a luxury vehicle. It’s available with a V6 at 290 horsepower, or a V8 at 368 horsepower. AT half the price of a comparable Mercedes, the Genesis is worth a look.

The Genesis comes with plenty of standard equipment, as is befitting a luxury model. You can add just about anything else you’d like to see, too, giving the Genesis every bell and whistle you can think of.

Hyundai Dealership Discusses Dealer Financing

Wednesday, November 26th, 2008

When you’re at your East Brunswick area Hyundai dealer looking for a new car, one of the most important things to consider is financing. Choosing whether you’ll finance your new Hyundai at the dealership or whether you’ll finance through another source is something many people struggle with.

Statistics tell us that the vast majority of people that finance a new car do so via dealer financing. Around 40 millions loans were provided at car dealerships in 2007.

One of the reasons that dealer financing is so popular is that dealers have access to multiple lending sources. This allows the dealer to shop around to find the best rates around. In addition, dealerships tend to do a large volume of business, so they are often able to get discounts based on the volume of financing they do through a particular lender.

Dealers are also the only place you can get special manufacturer incentive financing. This is yet another reason why so many people choose to finance at the dealer.

In addition, a dealer can get auto financing for customers will all sorts of credit histories, from those with perfect credit to those with damaged credit. Some dealers even work with lenders that specialize in financing customers with bankruptcy.

Financing at the dealership has many benefits. Find out what your options are at your Hyundai dealership today.

Hyundai Dealer Looks at the Hyundai Blue Drive

Monday, November 24th, 2008

Your Hyundai dealer near Somerville is proud to sell some of the best value cars in the world. In addition to reliability and affordability, Hyundai is well known for its dedication to fuel economy.

Recently, Hyundai Motor America made an announcement that it intends to reach a fleet average gas mileage of 35 mpg five years before the new fuel efficiency regulations set in. By 2015, Hyundai intends to reach its goal. The announcement was made at the Los Angeles Auto Show, where Hyundai also unveiled the Hyundai Sonata hybrid sedan, its first hybrid vehicle.

Hyundai expects to overtake Honda and Toyota in terms of fuel economy by 2015. Their campaign to increase fuel efficiency will be known as “Hyundai Blue Drive,” and will involve lithium battery-powered hybrids, gas engines that are turbocharged and that have direct injection, as well as plug in hybrid cars and fuel cell vehicles. In addition, Hyundai intends to keep its low-cost strategies for increasing fuel efficiency, such as aerodynamics, low resistance tires and engine calibrations. Beginning in 2009, Hyundai will offer “Blue” versions of the Accent and Elantra.

Hyundai is approaching its fuel efficient vehicles from the value perspective. It is Hyundai’s intention to be able to provide high economy vehicles at an affordable price.

New Jersey Dealership Looking Forward to Santa Fe Blue Hybrid

Friday, November 21st, 2008

Your Springfield-area Hyundai dealer is excited about the Santa Fe Blue Hybrid. At the Paris Auto Show this year, Hyundai released the Hyundai Santa Fe Blue Hybrid concept car. This car shows Hyundai’s ability and commitment to reduce car emissions and increase fuel efficiency.

The “Blue Hybrid” moniker indicates that the vehicle is part of Hyundai’s fuel efficiency initiative. Hyundai has chosen to use the color “Blue” rather than “Green” to represent its fuel efficiency initiatives.

The vehicle will be the same as the regular Santa Fe in terms of its design. It’s the engine that will see the biggest changes for this model. It will use a parallel hybrid drive that combines an electric motor with the already-economical 2.4 liter Theta engine. It is expected that this parallel hybrid drive will be the basis of the future hybrid vehicles that Hyundai develops.

The good news is that performance in the Santa Fe Blue Hybrid isn’t compromised in order to achieve fuel economy. It is expected that the vehicle will achieve a similar top speed, as well as a similar 0 to 60 speed, as the non-hybrid version of the Santa Fe.

The Santa Fe Blue Hybrid is just one example of Hyundai’s commitment to a cleaner and more fuel efficient future.

Hyundai HED-5 i-Mode Concept Car and your Hyundai Dealership

Wednesday, November 19th, 2008

The 2008 LA Auto Show is proving to provide all sorts of interesting material to talk about at your East Brunswick area Hyundai dealer. One of the most exciting parts of the show was the unveiling of a new Hyundai concept car: the HED-5 i-Mode.

The HED-5 i-Mode is a six seat family crossover vehicle, and it features Hyundai’s first environmentally friendly, direct-injection powerplant. This 2.0 liter four cylinder engine is known as the Theta Turbo GDI, and it uses direct injection technology to improve fuel efficiency.

Direct injection technology works like this. The engine directs fuel directly into the cylinder. It does so in very precise and small volumes. This causes the engine’s performance to improve because of intake charge cooling. Because of this improved manner of internal combustion, exhaust emissions are reduced and fuel economy is increased.

What’s truly interesting about the Theta Turbo GDI is that it manages to produce plenty7 of power. The engine can produce as many as 286 hp, which is more than many of the six cylinder engines out there today. In addition, it uses CVVT (Continuously Variable Valve Timing) to add to its fuel economy.

The HED-5 i-Mode concept also features other new high-tech amenities, such as webcams, a wireless network, and a new “BayVision” glazing system for its headlight lenses.

Get Side Air Bags at New Jersey Dealership

Friday, November 14th, 2008

Your Springfield area Hyundai dealer knows that you’re concerned about safety. One of the more useful safety improvements made in the automotive world in the last few years is the advent and increasing popularity of side air bags. Side air bags protect the head, chest or both when an adult is in an accident.

There are three kinds of side air bags. There are side air bags for the chest, ones for the head and combination side air bags that protect both. Head side air bags may be either “curtain” or “tubular.” Curtain side air bags usually protect the rear as well as the front occupants when there is a crash from the side. They also help to keep occupants from being ejected after a rollover.

Side airbags can inflate and deploy in just a fraction of a second. There are sensors within the vehicle that let the vehicle know if it’s been hit from the side. Side air bags differ from frontal air bags in that they can stay inflated for a while during the process of a crash.

Some vehicles have both frontal and side air bags. Since 1998, frontal air bags have been required in cars. Vans, pickups and SUVs were required to have them in 1999 and going forward.

If you want the maximum possible protection in the event of a side crash, consider buying a new car with side air bags.
