The Hyundai Genesis is a brand new type of vehicle, and the first true luxury vehicle that you’re likely to see at your Hyundai dealer near Springfield. At first glance, you aren’t even sure it’s a Hyundai; the famed Hyundai badge doesn’t appear on the front, on the doors, or even on the fenders. You can only find one Hyundai logo – on the lid of the trunk.
You’ll also find the vehicle’s name there, too: The Hyundai Genesis.
The Genesis is Hyundai’s foray into the luxury market. Hyundai has come through with flying colors. If it weren’t for those lone badges on the back of the car, you’d swear you were looking at Mercedes from the front or a Lexus from the side.
The ride, well, you’ll have to judge for yourself. The 2009 Hyundai genesis rides very smooth, and handles like a luxury vehicle. It’s available with a V6 at 290 horsepower, or a V8 at 368 horsepower. AT half the price of a comparable Mercedes, the Genesis is worth a look.
The Genesis comes with plenty of standard equipment, as is befitting a luxury model. You can add just about anything else you’d like to see, too, giving the Genesis every bell and whistle you can think of.
