Hyundai Dealership Applauds PA’s Commitment to Environment

Wednesday, January 7th, 2009

Your Hyundai dealership wants to give kudos to the officials in the state of Pennsylvania for joining 10 other eastern states in an effort to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

“This partnership will work closely on a standard for the entire region,” said Governor Ed Rendell earlier this week when he announced the state’s agreement to participate in the program. “In conjunction with Pennsylvania’s energy policies to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and increase clean energy development, this work done by this partnership will ultimately grow our economy and protect our planet by fostering a cleaner environment.”

The partnership is hoping to develop a “regional low carbon fuel standard” that will encourage residents to choose more eco-friendly methods of transportation, including hydrogen fueled cars, plug-in hybrids and cars fueled by biodiesel and ethanol. The idea of a regional low carbon fuel standard began in June of 2008 when Governor Deval Patrick of Massachusetts sent a letter inviting other governors in the region to cooperate.

The other states participating in the program include New Hampshire, Connecticut, Maine, Delaware, Massachusetts, Maryland, New York, New Jersey, Vermont and Rhode Island.

You can help the region achieve this goal by visiting your East Brunswick area Hyundai dealer and purchasing a fuel-efficient vehicle. With the number of choices, you’ll be sure to find something you like as well as something that’s great for the environment, too!

Hyundai Dealership Discusses Dealer Financing

Wednesday, November 26th, 2008

When you’re at your East Brunswick area Hyundai dealer looking for a new car, one of the most important things to consider is financing. Choosing whether you’ll finance your new Hyundai at the dealership or whether you’ll finance through another source is something many people struggle with.

Statistics tell us that the vast majority of people that finance a new car do so via dealer financing. Around 40 millions loans were provided at car dealerships in 2007.

One of the reasons that dealer financing is so popular is that dealers have access to multiple lending sources. This allows the dealer to shop around to find the best rates around. In addition, dealerships tend to do a large volume of business, so they are often able to get discounts based on the volume of financing they do through a particular lender.

Dealers are also the only place you can get special manufacturer incentive financing. This is yet another reason why so many people choose to finance at the dealer.

In addition, a dealer can get auto financing for customers will all sorts of credit histories, from those with perfect credit to those with damaged credit. Some dealers even work with lenders that specialize in financing customers with bankruptcy.

Financing at the dealership has many benefits. Find out what your options are at your Hyundai dealership today.

Hyundai HED-5 i-Mode Concept Car and your Hyundai Dealership

Wednesday, November 19th, 2008

The 2008 LA Auto Show is proving to provide all sorts of interesting material to talk about at your East Brunswick area Hyundai dealer. One of the most exciting parts of the show was the unveiling of a new Hyundai concept car: the HED-5 i-Mode.

The HED-5 i-Mode is a six seat family crossover vehicle, and it features Hyundai’s first environmentally friendly, direct-injection powerplant. This 2.0 liter four cylinder engine is known as the Theta Turbo GDI, and it uses direct injection technology to improve fuel efficiency.

Direct injection technology works like this. The engine directs fuel directly into the cylinder. It does so in very precise and small volumes. This causes the engine’s performance to improve because of intake charge cooling. Because of this improved manner of internal combustion, exhaust emissions are reduced and fuel economy is increased.

What’s truly interesting about the Theta Turbo GDI is that it manages to produce plenty7 of power. The engine can produce as many as 286 hp, which is more than many of the six cylinder engines out there today. In addition, it uses CVVT (Continuously Variable Valve Timing) to add to its fuel economy.

The HED-5 i-Mode concept also features other new high-tech amenities, such as webcams, a wireless network, and a new “BayVision” glazing system for its headlight lenses.

Hyundai Dealership Talks Tire Aging

Wednesday, November 12th, 2008

The Hyundai dealer near East Brunswick cares about your tire safety. That’s why you need to take some time to think about the aging of your tires.

Even if you don’t drive that many miles in a given year, the structure of your tires is eventually going to degrade. When this happens, your tires are much more likely to go flat, blow out, or even cause a crash. For this reason, you need to be aware of your tires’ age.

There are a number of factors that go into the aging of tires. For example, heat and sunlight both accelerate the age of your tires. In fact, it is the heat from the road that, over time, causes tires to break down the most. In addition, tires tend to degrade faster in warmer climates, or if they’re not stored properly.

Interestingly enough, the aging of tires isn’t much of a concern for vehicles that experience a lot of driving. Those tires are going to need to be replaced long before the aging of the tires is an issue. It’s tires that are only used occasionally that have to worry about aging.

There are several situations in which you might find a tire that is at risk of aging problems. For example, the tires on an RV or a collector’s car might be at risk. Spare tires are also at risk, as they don’t get used very often.

Even if a tire has plenty of tread, it may still be well past its age. Generally speaking, you should have your tires checked regularly to look at their structural integrity in order to avoid problems of aging.

Hyundai Dealership Takes You Behind The Scenes

Wednesday, November 5th, 2008

Your East Brunswick area Hyundai dealer knows the effect that higher gas prices over the summer and the recent economic woes have had on the auto industry. Fewer and fewer SUVs and trucks are being sold, and smaller cars seem to be increasing.

Recently, the Hyundai Manufacturing plant in Alabama changed the ratio of the vehicles it has been making. The plant makes both the midsize crossover SUV, the Hyundai Santa Fe, as well as the midsize sedan, the Sonata. Last month, more than 70% of the vehicles produced at this plant were Sonatas, which is a significant increase.

The Hyundai Santa Fe offers the functionality and the capacity of an SUV with a sportier quality of ride and handling. The Santa Fe features a contemporary look, as well as an upscale interior, and is one of the best vehicles in the midsize crossover SUV range.

The Sonata, on the other hand, is a comfortable midsize sedan. It features plenty of headroom, a rear seat with plenty of space, and interesting styling elements such as the two-tone dashboard and the various trim pieces in metallic shades. The Sonata is also much more economical in terms of cost, and is less expensive than other vehicles in its class.
