New Jersey Dealership Looks at the 2009 Hyundai Genesis

Friday, November 28th, 2008

The Hyundai Genesis is a brand new type of vehicle, and the first true luxury vehicle that you’re likely to see at your Hyundai dealer near Springfield. At first glance, you aren’t even sure it’s a Hyundai; the famed Hyundai badge doesn’t appear on the front, on the doors, or even on the fenders. You can only find one Hyundai logo – on the lid of the trunk.

You’ll also find the vehicle’s name there, too: The Hyundai Genesis.

The Genesis is Hyundai’s foray into the luxury market. Hyundai has come through with flying colors. If it weren’t for those lone badges on the back of the car, you’d swear you were looking at Mercedes from the front or a Lexus from the side.

The ride, well, you’ll have to judge for yourself. The 2009 Hyundai genesis rides very smooth, and handles like a luxury vehicle. It’s available with a V6 at 290 horsepower, or a V8 at 368 horsepower. AT half the price of a comparable Mercedes, the Genesis is worth a look.

The Genesis comes with plenty of standard equipment, as is befitting a luxury model. You can add just about anything else you’d like to see, too, giving the Genesis every bell and whistle you can think of.

When you’re at your East Brunswick area Hyundai dealer looking for a new car, one of the most important things to consider is financing. Choosing whether you’ll finance your new Hyundai at the dealership or whether you’ll finance through another source is something many people struggle with.

Statistics tell us that the vast majority of people that finance a new car do so via dealer financing. Around 40 millions loans were provided at car dealerships in 2007.

One of the reasons that dealer financing is so popular is that dealers have access to multiple lending sources. This allows the dealer to shop around to find the best rates around. In addition, dealerships tend to do a large volume of business, so they are often able to get discounts based on the volume of financing they do through a particular lender.

Dealers are also the only place you can get special manufacturer incentive financing. This is yet another reason why so many people choose to finance at the dealer.

In addition, a dealer can get auto financing for customers will all sorts of credit histories, from those with perfect credit to those with damaged credit. Some dealers even work with lenders that specialize in financing customers with bankruptcy.

New Jersey Dealership offers Gas-Saving Advice

Friday, October 31st, 2008

Your Hyunda dealer near Springfield knows that the rising cost of gas can be a real strain on your wallet. Most people can’t just sell their car or trade it in on a new hybrid vehicle. Fortunately, there are things you can do when you’re driving to save some gas and save some money at the pump.

One of the best ways to save gas is to plan your traveling. If you can, try to avoid driving during peak traffic hours. You can avoid some of the starting and stopping, thereby saving on gas.

You should try to use your cruise control when driving on the highway. Cruise control lets you keep a constant speed, which uses less gas than when your speed fluctuates.

Inflate your tires to the proper level. If your tires have to much air or not enough air, it will affect not only your car’s gas mileage but your safety, as well.

Make sure to keep current with maintenance. Get oil changes and tune ups when it’s time, and have your mechanic inspect your vehicle for mechanical problems from time to time.

If you are in the market for a new vehicle, come and see us at your New Jersey dealership near Springfield. We’ve got a new fuel efficient vehicle to meet your needs.

Starting Your Cold Car: Advice From Your Hyundai Dealer

    Monday, October 6th, 2008

As winter quickly approaches, your Hyundai dealer knows that there are things you need to be ready for. One of the ways you can prepare for those harsh winter months is thinking about starting your car on a cold morning.

On a cold day, your engine could have trouble starting because of a number of factors. For example, the cold weather causes your oil to become thicker. Oil, like any other liquid, changes consistency when it gets cold. This can make it difficult for the oil to circulate in your system.

One way to overcome this problem with your oil is to follow the manufacturer’s recommendation for oil weight. Another option is to use synthetic oil, which doesn’t get thicker in cold weather.

Your battery can be another reason you might have problems starting your car in the winter. The battery in your car tends to lose some of its capacity in lower temperatures. Eventually, if it’s cold enough, the battery can stop giving enough of a charge to start your car.

To avoid this problem, when you’re preparing your car for winter, you should have your battery tested. If it’s near the end of its life, replacing it may mean the difference between your car starting in winter or not.

If you’re in the market for a new vehcile to get you through the winter months, come see us. We’re your local Hyundai dealer, and we’ve got just the car for you.

New Jersey Dealership Watches For Hyundai Ads

    Friday, October 3rd, 2008

One of the more interesting aspects of the automotive world is the advertising campaigns that the manufacturers invest in. In recent days, for example, Chevrolet has abandoned many of its bigger ad campaigns. For example, there are spots on the Academy Awards show that Chevrolet has let go this year. Next year, guests of the show will be riding to the Oscar’s in vehicles from a Hyundai dealer, rather than in those bought at a Chevrolet dealer.

Ads at the Academy Awards this year are expected to be especially effective, as fans anxiously await to find out whether or not Heath Ledger will earn a posthumous Oscar for his role as the Joker in The Dark Night.

The economic instability that has plagued the last few months, combined with rising gas prices, have affected car sales all around. GM, in particular, has been hit hard by these market changes.

The Oscars aren’t the only place Hyundai will be adding advertising campaigns. Hyundai has reserved the old Chevrolet spots for the 2009 Super Bowl, as well. It is expected that Hyundai will use the Super Bowl spots to launch the campaign for it’s new vehicle, the Hyundai Genesis.

Hyundai Dealership To Feature New Luxury Model

    Wednesday, October 1st, 2008

Hyundai dealers are going to see some changes to their lineup this year, with the intention of making inroads into new and uncharted territory. They’re going to make an entrance into the luxury market, an area that has traditionally been dominated by non-Asian automakers such as BMW and Mercedes.

The new 2009 Hyundai Genesis is designed to compete directly with BMW, Mercedes, and the Japanese luxury cars. The 2009 Genesis will be Hyundai’s first luxury, rear wheel drive sedan. The vehicle seats five passengers, and it features unique suspension dampeners to give it the smooth ride that consumers have come to expect from a luxury sedan.

There are two engine choices for the 2009 Hyundai Genesis. The first is a 4.6 liter V8, coming in at 375 horsepower. The other is a 3.8 liter V6 with 290 horsepower.

As with other Hyundai vehicles, the Genesis will carry Hyundai’s 100,000 mile, 10 year limited powertrain warranty. It is expected that the Hyundai Genesis will have a retail price tag of around $33,000 to start.

Hyundai Dealer Provides Value, According To Study

    Monday, September 29th, 2008

Your Hyundai dealer knows that there’s one thing that you’re looking for in your car choice above all else, and that is value. The good news is that Hyundai, as a brand, continues to make gains in brand value worldwide.

An annual survey by Best Global brands has shown that, in every year since 2005 when they began studying brand value, Hyundai has grown at a steady pase. Hyundai ranked eighth in the globe when it comes to auto makers, ahead of many other brands including Nissan, Porsche, and Lexus. The largest gains Hyundai made were in India, Korea, Russia, and Brazil.

Hyundai has worked continuously to improve the design and the quality of their vehicles. This has provided them with the kind of momentum they have needed, as a global company, to grow their brand.

There has been a steady increase in both sales and in confidence among buyers, as well as among Hyundai dealers.

Brand management is a top priority at Hyundai. Brand management considerations influence decision-making at all levels of the organization, from styling and marketing to communications, retail and after-sales service.

If you’re in the market for a new car, no one can provide you with the same kind of value that we can right here at your local Hyundai dealer.
